Institutional Background

  • The Reform Initiatives (TRI) is a policy research institute that was initiated and established in 2015 to transform and to reform policies in Southeast Asian countries to be more open, participatory, responsible, inclusive and responsive to the public interest. Our research and policy advocacy agenda is covering the following topics are economic, fiscal and monetary, social welfare, decentralization, tax reform, natural resources governance, climate change and environment, gender and social inclusion, good governance, law enforcement, politic and electoral, labor and employment, and entrepreneurship.
  • The research agenda cover Southeast Asia countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Timor Leste.
  • TRI committed to conduct annual research on 10 (ten) selected topics and produce it as “Analysis”, “Policy Brief”, “Research Reports”, “Academic Papers”, and “Books”
